Description
The John Loafer is a high-quality shoe produced by our own craftsmen. The leather is cut and the upper
assembled entirely by hand in our Rome workshop.
To produce the John, Calzoleria Petrocchi uses only carefully selected leathers such as Italian and French kid which have been tanned by natural and aniline processes to emphasise the original characteristics of the skins.
Only Italian leather is used for the outsole, the midsole and heel.
The seam of the top part of the upper, the vamp is formed with two flaps of leather, subsequently joined and sewn. The same method is used for the seams of the rear strip reinforcing the heel.
The sole is stitched with the Blake technique, a single seam uniting the sole, the upper and the inner sole. The extended profile of the sole, the welt, is finished with a studded edge.
Calzoleria Petrocchi makes the John Loafer in a range of leathers and colours. To view the other loafer models that we produce, please click here.
