Description
The Carl Loafer is a high-quality shoe produced by our own craftsmen. The leather is cut and the upper assembled entirely by hand in our Rome workshop.
To produce the Carl, Calzoleria Petrocchi uses only carefully selected leathers such as Italian and French kid which have been tanned by natural and aniline processes to emphasise the original characteristics of the skins.
The black patent leather upper features the classic lozenge that in the Carl model is gros-grain.
Only Italian leather is used for the outsole, the midsole and heel.
The stitching of the sole is made with the Blake technique: a single stitching holds together the sole, the upper and the insole. The sole is light and close, without “rolling”, as expected in an elegant and refined model like our Carl’s Loafer and has a slight convexity called “bombé”.
The sole is stitched with the Blake technique, a single seam uniting the sole, the upper and the inner sole.
