Description
The Andrew Oxford is a high-quality shoe produced by our own craftsmen. The leather is cut and the upper assembled entirely by hand in our Rome workshop.
To produce the Andrew, Calzoleria Petrocchi uses only carefully selected leathers such as Italian and French kid which have been tanned by natural and aniline processes to emphasise the original characteristics of the skins.
Only Italian leather is used for the outsole, the midsole and heel.
The full grained Andrew has alternating punching or broguing (one large and two small holes) on three parts of the shoe: the toe cap and around the shoe neck, the quarter or side pieces.
The sole is stitched with the Blake technique, a single seam uniting the sole, the upper and the inner sole.
Note that the sole has a characteristic curvature, the so-called bombè.
Calzoleria Petrocchi makes the London in a range of leathers and colours. To view the other Oxford models that we produce, please click here.
