Description
The Lincoln Oxford is a high-quality shoe produced by our own craftsmen. The leather is cut and the upper assembled entirely by hand in our Rome workshop.
To produce the Lincoln, Calzoleria Petrocchi uses only carefully selected leathers such as Italian and French kid which have been tanned by natural and aniline processes to emphasise the original characteristics of the skins.
Only Italian leather is used for the outsole, the midsole and heel.
The stitching of the sole is carried out using the Blake-Rapid technique. It is a double stitching, the first one is used to join the insole, the upper and the midsole; the second one joins the midsole to the sole and is obtained by means of the Rapid sewing machine. In addition, the protrusion of the sole, called the “welt”, is worked with a technique called “rolling”. It is possible to choose a stitching only Blake and with smooth welt, even more elegant.
Calzoleria Petrocchi makes the Lincoln in a range of leathers and colours.
