Description
The cutting of the leather and the assembly of the upper are carried out entirely by hand in our workshop in Rome.
Calzoleria Petrocchi uses only carefully selected hides, such as Italian and French calfskins, which are naturally tanned and aniline-tanned (a process that brings out the natural characteristics of the leather).
Only genuine Italian natural leather is used for the sole, midsole and heel.
The sole is stitched using the Blake technique: a single seam holds the sole, upper and insole together. In addition, the protrusion of the sole, called the “welt”, is worked with a technique called “rolling”.
The Lucky boot is made of cherry-coloured calfskin. The strap is held in place at the ankle with a bronze-coloured oval buckle.
Calzoleria Petrocchi makes the Lucky ankle boot in different leathers and colours. To see the other models of ankle boot we make, click here.
